Director's Message

At the Center for STEM Diversity, we pride ourselves on being part of the national conversation to implement effective strategies that significantly broaden the participation of underrepresented populations in science and engineering.

At Tufts University, our primary goal is to cultivate a campus culture that truly values diversity. To do that, we believe it is essential to provide a sense of community for our students. The center works with both undergraduate and graduate students from diverse backgrounds and experiences by helping them navigate science and engineering disciplines from an academic and social perspective.

Whether you are a student, faculty member, or staff, we welcome you to become part of our effort to enhance and enrich the Tufts experience.

Darryl N. Williams, Ph.D.
Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education
